1. Local In-Browser Processing (Zero-Upload Guarantee)
When you drag, drop, or select an image on AspectRatioKit, the file is read exclusively by your local web browser using the standard FileReader API and HTML5 Canvas API.
No image data, pixel buffer, or EXIF metadata is ever transmitted across the internet to any server, cloud storage bucket, or third-party service. All calculations happen in local system RAM.
2. No Storage of Personal Visual Data
Because AspectRatioKit has no image upload endpoint or database storage mechanism for uploads, it is mathematically and technically impossible for us to view, store, index, sell, or retain your personal photographs, design mockups, or video assets.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use tracking cookies, behavioral ad pixels, or third-party marketing beacons.
We only utilize the browser's standard localStorage to remember your chosen theme preference (System, Light, or Dark). This data remains strictly on your local device and is never synchronized to our servers.
4. GDPR and CCPA Compliance
Because we do not collect, process, or sell personal data or identifiable imagery, AspectRatioKit adheres by design to the principles of data minimization specified in the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
5. Independent Verification
You can independently verify our zero-upload architecture at any moment: open your web browser's Developer Tools (F12 or Cmd+Option+I), navigate to the Network tab, and drag a photo into the tool. You will observe zero outbound HTTP requests for file content.
